MMJARTS is a program that generates the log and summary sheets for the JARTS RTTY contest, which is held in the third weekend of October. MMJARTS reads the log data of MMTTY and generates the log and summary sheets for JARTS.

----------
1. Setup
----------
Start MMJARTS.EXE, click on File menu, select Setup, and fill in the form. The items you have filled here are recorded in MMJARTS.INI, so that you will not have to enter them in the next time.
The language selection (English or Japanese) only affects the menu and messages. The sheets are always generated in English. At the start-up, MMJARTS.EXE automatically selects the language by referring to the Windows locale information.

----------------------
2. Load the log file
----------------------
Click on File menu and select Load log. You are prompted to select the log file. Select the log file recorded by MMTTY. The file extension is MDT. MMJARTS.EXE calculates the score and generates the log and summary sheets. It also generates the dup check file if needed.
MMJARTS.EXE generates the following files in the directory where MMJARTS exists.

	Log sheet Callsign.txt
	Summary sheet Callsign.sum
	Dup check file Callsign.chk
	Analysis file Callsign.ana

It should be noted that MMJARTS.EXE does not take account of the date and time of the QSOs. For this reason, the MMTTY log file must only have the contest QSO.

-----------------
3. DX entities
-----------------
MMJARTS and MMTTY automatically detect the DX entities and continents in most cases. If MMJARTS.EXE cannot identify the entity from the call sign, MMJARTS.EXE outputs an error message in the lower window, like below.

194 10/21 1502Z 14 JD1ABC 59940 59999 : DXCC Unknown [JD1/?]

Double click on the error message. MMJARTS.EXE opens a new window, with which you can edit the multi and continent. Push the OK button after inputting the correct multi and continent information. MMJARTS.EXE changes the entry not only in the JARTS log sheet but also in the original MMTTY log file.
After editing all the DXCC unknown entries, click on File menu and Re-totalize.

--------------------
4. Invalid QSO
--------------------
MMJARTS.EXE treats the QSO invalid if:
- Two or more QSOs with the same station on the same band (MMJARTS.EXE only counts the first QSO)
- Rcvd contest NR is invalid or empty

MMJARTS.EXE generates a dup check file for every band that has 200 or more QSO records. The dup check file contains the call signs of valid QSOs in alphabetical order. Since the dup QSOs are treated invalid, the check file does not have dup call signs.

---------------------------------------
5. Submission of the log and summary sheets
---------------------------------------
JARTS contest summary must be submitted through the ONLINE SUMMARY FORM provided in the JARTS home page. MMJARTS.EXE generates the form, which you can manually copy and paste to the ONLINE SUMMARY FORM.
This on-line input for the summary is a must. Do not send the summary by e-mail.

Summary must be submitted at
JARTS-Web	http://www.edsoftz.com/JARTS/index.html

Log and dup check will be submitted to
E-Mail	jarts@edsoftz.com
	Subject: JARTS2002(callsign)
Body text: JARTS RTTY Contest 2002 entry file (attached file names)

The addresses and form are subject to change. Please check on the latest information to make sure.

----------------
6. Note
----------------
MMJARTS automatically calculates the score and generates the log and summary sheets, but DO NOT FORGET TO CHECK THEM CAREFULLY BY YOURSELF BEFORE THE SUBMISSION.
